When I travel to Jogjakarta this week, I met my old friend, Gary. He is my long old friend and spent three years in same middle school, in one pesantren somewhere, where we had had to teach on strong Islamic values, like the power of faith, iman, islam, ihsan, aqidah, syariah and ahlaq. We’ve been three years bonding on some brotherhood because we were on same side. We were just like a sissy boy, at least that what people said. It was in 2002 and twelve years later, I meet Gary and he told that he got an HIV/AIDS, I shocked and couldn’t help but I wonder, how he receives that reality.
